Mykonos Airport is an international airport located 4 km. from Mykonos Town and provides free parking spaces.
During the summer months local buses are used for the transportation of passengers, but also the local taxis, which serve the public all year round.
The island of Mykonos has two ports:
The Old Port, which is 500 meters from the city center and the New Port, in the area of Tourlos , which is 3,5 km from the city centre.
A few Catamaran ships come into the Old Port and all the others, passenger/vehicle ferries and high speed vessels, dock in the New Port of Tourlos. Cruise Ships, weather permitting, dock in the New Port, otherwise they anchor outside the Old Port and tender into the port.
During the summer months, passengers are able to travel from the New Port to the Old Port with local taxis or by the Sea Bus (water taxi).
From the New Port there is also the option of using the local buses. They connect the New Port with the Old Port and the Airport.
